The log cabin building process

The process of installing your log cabin couldn't be simpler:

Step 1

Once you've chosen your log cabin contact Cabin Living and discuss options.

Step 2 Site Visit

We will arrange a site visit. We can discuss the suitability of the site, establish the best position for your garden building discuss base preparation and whether you require help making contact with your council’s planning department. In all cases we advise contacting development services so that, if you sell your property, you will have written approval to present to your buyer’s solicitor.

Step 3 Delivery.

We will monitor the progress of your log cabin delivery every step of the way and will inform you of the delivery progress.

Delivery times may vary but most cabins are guaranteed delivery within 14 - 28 days.

Step 4 Construction

Construction of your garden office begins. Clearly construction times will vary depending on options chosen and the size of your log cabin but we are experienced log cabin installers and can complete a standard sized (3m x 4m)garden office installation in two days.

Step 5

Plaster boarding and insulation.

Walls can be further insulated with cavity insulation and plaster boarding. In this example it is to provide a projection wall for a home cinema.

We also offer additional roof insulation as an optional extra as 70% of heat lost is through the roof and floor.

Next step

The next step is to install your bespoke garden building interior! We have options to provide power sockets, networking cable solutions, and have recently included underfloor heating as an option with most log cabin types. Laminate flooring and additional partitoning means we can design your interior to meet your requirements.
